KKR v PBKS: IPL 2023 team news
Umesh Yadav has a hamstring niggle which has made him miss the last few games for KKR. He will continue to sit out in all probability. KKR have also signed Johnson Charles as a replacement for Litton Das who had to pull out of the season due to personal reasons. The chances of him getting a game at this stage are slim unless Jason Roy or Rahmanullah Gurbaz are unavailable.
Suyash Sharma didn’t get to play in KKR’s last match against SRH as they had to bring in Anukul Roy as the impact sub after a batting collapse. If that doesn’t happen again, then Suyash should be back in for the bowling innings of KKR.
Punjab suffered a defeat against Mumbai Indians in their last game while defending 214. After winning their first two games of the season, they have not managed to string together two consecutive victories. Sikandar Raza, after playing an important cameo against Chennai two matches back, was dropped for the last game. He might make a comeback into the XI for this one in place of Matthew Short.

KKR v PBKS: Today’s IPL 2023 match prediction
KKR and PBKS are eighth and seventh on the points table respectively. While Punjab had started the season well, they have slipped down the table and have lost two out of their last three matches. KKR on the other hand, have made a comeback of sorts, winning two out of their last three games. They have momentum on their side, and with a batting lineup that has started to fire consistently now, they will start off as favourites at their home ground.
