India Women will host England Women for a three-match T20I series between December 6 and 10. Here’s everything you need to know about the IND-W vs ENG-W series squads, including the full teams and injury lists.

India have named a 16-member squad led by Harmanpreet Kaur, with elegant southpaw batter Smriti Mandhana as her deputy. While Renuka Singh Thakur has made a comeback from injury, the team includes many youngsters, mostly from their successful gold-winning team at the Asian Games 2023. Left-arm spinner Saika Ishaque and all-rounder Shreyanka Patil earned their maiden India call-ups on the back of their breakout season in the inaugural Women’s Premier League (WPL).

Rookies like Mannat Kashyap, Kanika Ahuja, Patil and promising fast-bowler Titas Sandhu, alongside the experienced Kaur, Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma provide a nice mix of seniors and juniors.

For England, Heather Knight will captain a 16-member strong group in their first India tour since 2019. Sophia Dunkley, player of the series the last time they played a series against India, will be eager to emulate her past returns. Seasoned campaigner Nat Sciver-Brunt will also be eyeing to continue with her rich vein of form from the Ashes summer in 2023. The side flew to Oman for a preparatory camp between November 17 and December 3 before the curtain-raiser match on December 6.
