India will host the West Indies in an ODI and T20I series starting February 6, 2022 – here’s the schedule, full list of fixtures and match timings for the IND vs WI one-dayers and T20I series.

India come into the West Indies series on the back of a chastening multi-format series defeat against South Africa. The hosts will be welcoming Rohit Sharma back into the fold. The right-handed batter missed the entire tour to South Africa and this series will be his first as full-time ODI skipper.

While the 50-over World Cup is more than a year away, the next T20 World Cup is scheduled for later this year, meaning that both India and the West Indies would be looking to narrow down on potential combinations for the global event.

Both hosts India and West Indies have announced their squads for the two-format tour. The hosts’ team had a few surprises and a couple of notable omissions. West Indies, who have announced a 15-member ODI squad for the three games, will be led by Kieron Pollard.

The ODIs will take place in Ahmedabad. It will be followed by a three-match T20I series slated to be held in Kolkata. The schedule was tweaked keeping in mind the risk excessive travelling poses due to Covid-19.
