Sri Lanka‘s tour of India is all set to commence from February 24, 2022, with a T20I in Lucknow – here’s the Ind v SL 2022 schedule, containing full list of fixtures and match timings for the tour.

The team will tour India for the first time in nearly four years. Last time they were unable to win a series in any format, although they managed to draw two Tests, and won an ODI after bowling India out for 112. Sri Lanka have never won a Test in India and would hope to turn things around under the leadership of Dimuth Karunaratne.

India have already announced their squads for the upcoming series. Rohit Sharma will be leading for the first time in Tests, while Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara have been dropped. Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant have been rested from the T20I series, even as KL Rahul is out due to injury.

With the home side missing a number of their first-choice players, this will be a good opportunity for Sri Lanka to make an impact on this tour. This will still be a tough task given how they fared in Australia, losing the five-game T20I series 1-4.

IND vs SL 2022 schedule: Fixtures & match timings

The three-match T20I series will be played first, followed by a two-Test contest which will carry important WTC points. The second Test at Bangalore is all set to be a day-night contest, the third such game in India.
