The Men in Blue will take on South Africa in a T20I series from June 9 to June 19, with all five matches being held in different venues. A number of senior players are expected to be rested from the series, which will be held ten days after the end of the 2022 IPL.
The visitors will be led by Temba Bavuma, who will have a full-strength team at his disposal. Players such as David Miller, Rassie van der Dussen, Aiden Markram, Quinton de Kock, Tabraiz Shamsi, Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje will take part, while India are yet to announce their squad, with reports suggesting Shikhar Dhawan could be in the fray to lead the team.
The Indian team will then travel to Ireland for a two-match series, with the games being held on June 26 and June 28. Reports also suggest that the players who make the cut for the T20Is against South Africa could also travel to Dublin, with the other players preparing for the fifth Test match against England that will be held from July 1.
The first match of the series against the Proteas will be held in Delhi, with Cuttack, Visakhapatnam, Saurashtra, and Bengaluru hosting the remaining fixtures. All matches will be held from 7pm IST.
