Watch: Rohit Sharma, one of the best players of the pull shot in the game, unleashed his favourite stroke after Adam Milne sent down a short ball during the 2nd T20I at Ranchi.
Rohit Sharma hit one of the shots of the evening as he dispatched his Mumbai Indians teammate Adam Milne for a maximum over midwicket during the fourth over of the India innings. Milne offered pace on a shorter delivery, which was right in the slot for the opener, who whipped out his trademark pull shot for his first six of the night. Though it was the 22nd ball of the innings, Rohit had faced only two balls up until then, with his opening partner KL Rahul being on strike for the majority of the first few overs.
New Zealand ended their 20 overs at 153-6, with Glenn Phillips top-scoring with a 21-ball 34. India lead the series 1-0, with a third game scheduled to be held at Eden Gardens on Sunday.
