Watch: Even while playing perhaps the best knock of his remarkable Test career so far, Rishabh Pant found a way to spark mirth with some unusual antics.

The India wicketkeeper battled an ailment during his century against England, and was given some sort of potion to drink while being attended to by the physio. After downing the mysterious liquid, Pant recoiled at the taste, with social media responding with laughter.

Pickle juice, famously sharp tasting, has been found to reduce cramps. Oliver Phelps, the actor who played George Weasley in the Harry Potter film franchise, likened it to “When you’re done drinking for the night and one of your mates hands you another Fireball…”
