Watch: Joe Root grabbed a stunning catch diving to his left to dismiss Ajinkya Rahane in the afternoon session of the Chennai Test between India and England.

India were left tottering at 73-4 after Ajinkya Rahane hit Dom Bess straight to cover where Joe Root, alert as ever even after batting for 536 minutes, dived to his left and completed a terrific one-handed catch.

The full stretch dive and catch from Root was one among a few brilliant pieces of fielding from England fielders in the Test. Earlier, James Anderson had taken an equally good catch at mid-on to send back Shubman Gill.
