Watch: There were laughs in the commentary box as Rishabh Pant momentarily lost his bearings on day two of the first Test between India and England.

In the 151st over of England’s innings, Ollie Pope swatted at a full toss from Ravichandran Ashwin, with a top-edge popping up high and over the keeper’s head.

Unfortunately for Pant, he lost complete sight of the ball, moving into the silly point region and looking to the heavens as the ball raced away behind were he had started.

“Rishabh Pant was going somewhere else and the ball elsewhere,” exclaimed Laxman Sivaramakrishnan on commentary.

Even Pope appeared to lose sight of where the ball flew, much to the amusement of the men behind the mic.
