Watch: Shubman Gill launched fast bowler Cameron Green out of the park for a six as straight as an arrow to bring up his 50 in the second ODI of the Ind vs Aus series on September 24.

India are making a habit of scoring quickly in the first 10 overs with Gill as the main aggressor. He brought up his second quickfire fifty on the trot against Australia, emulating his half-century in the first match off just 37 balls.

The right-hand dasher launched a barrage of maximums against leg-spinner Adam Zampa and fast-bowling all-rounder Green.

In the 11th over, Gill lofted Zampa over long-on for a gigantic 89 m six off a full delivery. His batting partner Shreyas Iyer was in awe of the tremendous shot.

To top it off, the 24-year-old gave Green a charge in the first ball of the 13th over, hitting a good-length delivery straight over the bowler’s head for a glorious over boundary. He brought up his 10th ODI fifty with the shot.
