Seven more members of Pakistan’s touring squad to England have tested positive for Covid-19, bringing the total infected up to 10.

The seven are Kashif Bhatti, Mohammad Hasnain, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Rizwan, Mohammad Hafeez, Wahab Riaz, and Imran Khan. Yesterday, three players had tested positive for Covid-19 in the first round of routine testing ahead of Pakistan’s tour to England. None have as yet displayed any symptoms.

One member of the support staff, Malang Ali, a masseur, has also tested positive. He is also symptomless. Of the 43 set to travel to England on June 28, 40 have now been tested. Shoaib Malik, Cliffe Deacon, and Waqar Younis are the three not yet tested. All those who have tested positive have been instructive to observe strict quarantine.
