England have named a 14-man squad for their upcoming three-match T20I series against Pakistan.
The squad does not include any players currently in the Test bio-secure bubble at the Ageas Bowl, with the first T20I to be played at Emirates Old Trafford three days after the fifth day of the upcoming third Test.
Ten of the 14 players selected appeared in England’s recent 2-1 ODI series win over Ireland, with Joe Denly, Lewis Gregory, Chris Jordan and Dawid Malan the other inclusions.
Pat Brown, Liam Livingstone and Reece Topley have been included as reserves.
“In this crowded international summer, players who are currently in the Test match bio-secure bubble for the Pakistan Test series are not included in this squad,” said chief selector Ed Smith.
“We want to give multi-format players some opportunity to rest and refresh, while still selecting strong squads for every series. We will announce the squad for the Australia T20 series at a later date.”
All three T20Is will be played behind closed doors at Old Trafford, with the series opener to take place on August 28.
