The third T20I between England and Pakistan at Cardiff is under threat of being washed out as persistent rain swept across most of England and Wales on Tuesday (May 28).
England won the second match of the series after the first at Headingley was also abandoned due to rain. The four-match series is the last opportunity for both sides to make final preparations before they head out to the T20 World Cup. England will be without their captain Jos Buttler for this game as he takes time off for the birth of his third child, Moeen Ali will captain the hosts.
The match is due to start at 6:30pm GMT at which point BBC Weather predicts there will be a 58 per cent chance of rain. Accuweather predicts a similar chance of rain around that time with more rain expected throughout the evening.
Rain has caused problems with other international fixtures in England in recent weeks as well, with the second ODI between England women and Pakistan women also washed-out over the weekend.
