England will take on the Netherlands in a three-match ODI series starting on June 17 — here’s the full squad and team list for NED vs ENG 2022.
The England team will play the Netherlands men’s team for the first time in an ODI series when the two teams lock horns for three games. The series will begin on June 17 with the final match on June 22. The second ODI will be played on Sunday, June 19.
This will be England white-ball coach Matthew Mott’s first series in charge, and he will have at his disposal a full-strength squad that will be led by Eoin Morgan. Jos Buttler, Moeen Ali, Liam Livingstone, and David Willey return to the national set-up after their IPL stints, while Jason Roy, who pulled out of the 2022 IPL to spend time with his family, returns as well.
Luke Wood has earned his maiden call-up, while David Payne is another player who would be eyeing a debut. The big news is the return of all-rounder Sam Curran, who had missed the last six months of action due to a stress fracture of the back.
The Netherlands, on the other hand, have announced an 18-member squad that will be led by Pieter Seelaar. Tom Cooper gets a call-up after nine years, while Tim Pringle, who played for the New Zealand under19 team, has been selected as well.
