India will take on the Netherlands in a practice game, five days ahead of their first match in the World Cup, against Australia in Chennai.

The warm-up game will begin at 2pm local time. Both teams saw their first warm-up game getting washed out due to rain. India were scheduled to play England on September 30 in Guwahati, but heavy rain prevented any action. The Netherlands got some action and were reduced to 84-6 in a curtailed match against Australia, but the game was also washed out.

For India, Virat Kohli has reportedly not travelled to Thiruvananthapuram with the team due to a family emergency but is expected to join the squad ahead of the clash.
