Eighteen teams will compete in the 122nd edition of the county season, with the sides divided into two divisions. Division One has Essex, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Kent, Lancashire, Northamptonshire, Somerset, Surrey, Warwickshire, and Yorkshire, while Derbyshire, Durham, Glamorgan, Leicestershire, Middlesex, Nottinghamshire, Sussex, and Worcestershire make up the Second Division.A number of overseas players, including top Test stars Shaheen Afridi, Marnus Labuschagne and Cheteshwar Pujara will be seen in action for different teams in the upcoming County Championship. The tournament will start from April 7 and run till September 29.
