Australia Women v India Women Test and T20I 2021 live telecast: Where to watch Au-W v In-W series TV and stream

by Wisden Staff 2 minute read

Australia women will take on India women in a pink-ball Test in Carrara from September 30 to October 3, following it with a T20I series – here’s where to watch Au-W v In-W four-day Test and T20Is on TV and live stream.

Australia women will play hosts to India women for a day-night Test encounter. It will be a whole 15 years since the two sides met in a Test encounter. Australia women beat India women by an innings and four runs in that Test.

This will be their second pink-ball Test: their first Test was an Ashes encounter which ended in a draw. For India women, this will be their first-ever pink-ball Test. The two sides recently finished an enthralling three-match ODI series.

Australia women won a closely fought series 2-1. By winning the third game, India women ended Australia women’s 26-match unbeaten ODI streak.

Australia would hope Ellyse Perry comes good with the ball, while India would bank on Jhulan Goswami to continue her good work from the ODIs.

Both sides face injury concerns. Australia women’s Rachael Haynes has been ruled out of the Test as well as T20Is series.  India also face troubles, with Harmanpreet Kaur ruled out of the pink-ball contest due to a thumb injury.

The Test will be followed by a three-match T20I series between the two sides.
