Watch: Hardik Pandya bowled Babar Azam with a stunning inswinger that rattled the Pakistan skipper’s stumps on the reserve day of the India v Pakistan 2023 Asia Cup Super Fours match today (September 11).
Babar walked out to bat in the fifth over after Imam-ul-Haq was dismissed by Jasprit Bumrah in the run chase of 357 against India. However, he struggled to get going, making 10 off the first 20 deliveries, and being dismissed by Pandya four balls later, falling to a corker that nipped back in sharply.

Hardik pitched the fourth ball of the 11th over outside the off stump, but it came back in too quickly for Babar, who failed to get his bat down in time. The ball went on to rattle the top of his off stump, and Hardik, who got a wicket on just his fourth ball of the game, let out a huge roar after dismissing the No.1 men’s ODI batter.
Pakistan fell to 43-2 following the wicket, with Mohammad Rizwan joining Fakhar Zaman at the crease.
