Watch: Fakhar Zaman grabbed a stunning running catch to dismiss Nepal’s Gulsan Jha during the 2023 Asia Cup opener on August 30 (Wednesday) in Lahore, en route to a huge win for Pakistan.

On the third ball of the 22nd over of Nepal’s innings, Jha looked to attack a yorker by Shadab Khan, looking to hit it over deep mid-wicket for a maximum. He ended up with a top edge, but the ball seemed to be landing safely, in no man’s land.

However, Zaman had other ideas as he ran in from the boundary rope and then put in a brilliant dive forward to catch the ball cleanly, leaving the commentators as well as the viewers in awe.

It was Shadab’s first wicket of the innings, and he proceeded to grab three more in the space of six balls, to dismiss Nepal for 104. Shadab ended with 4-27 in 6.4 overs, as Pakistan registered a 238-run win.
