Watch: Commentator Wasim Akram was left visibly annoyed after the broadcasters showed the wrong XI in the build-up to the India-Pakistan clash at the Asia Cup.

On Sunday night, India and Pakistan met in Dubai for the second match of the 2022 Asia Cup. As is the norm, the official broadcasters displayed both XIs ahead of the match. The Pakistan XI displayed featured Hassan Ali instead of Shahnawaz Dahani, much to the annoyance of commentator Wasim Akram. According to Wasim, Pakistan batting coach Mohammad Yousuf had told him about Dahani’s inclusion before the game.

The broadcasters were prompt to replace the incorrect XI with the correct one, but Wasim was not amused. “It’s a big game, that’s not a little mistake,” he uttered on air.
