Afghanistan got their T20I series against Pakistan off to a perfect start in Sharjah yesterday (March 25) with a six-wicket win. The second game is tomorrow (March 26) – here’s where you can watch every match of the series live on TV and live streaming.
The whole series will be played in Sharjah and if the first game is anything to go by then it will be quite a series. Afghanistan reduced Pakistan to 92-9 in their 20 overs before chasing it down thanks largely to 38 not out from Mohammed Nabi, who ended the game with a six of debutant Ihsanullah.
The win wasn’t without some feistiness, Nabi stared down non-striking batter Imad Wasim after dismissing Faheem Ashraf as his recorded figures of 2-12.
The game also saw the raw pace of Ihsanullah for the first time in international cricket, as he introduce himself in Pakistan colours with two wickets in his first three balls, the 24th player to strike with his first ball in men’s T20Is.
