In this quiz, you have to name the 22 players who featured in the Faisalabad Test match of 1990-91, when the West Indies won their last Test in Pakistan before Multan 2024-25.
Before their triumph in Multan in January 2025, the last time the West Indies had won a Test match in Pakistan was way back in November 1990, at Faisalabad.
The West Indies were without Viv Richards in this series, and were led by one-half of their legendary opening pair.
Pakistan had won the first Test, at Karachi, by eight wickets. At Faisalabad, they were bowled out for 170 by a fearsome pace quartet, featuring three men who are, as of 2025, the three highest Test wicket-takers for the West Indies. The Pakistan new-ball pair, both of whose names begin with the same letter, then restricted the tourists to a 21-run lead.
Pakistan then reached 127-3 before collapsing to 154. The West Indies became 34-3. Their No.3, who had top-scored with 44 in the first innings, then remained unbeaten on 70 to finish a seven-wicket win. The third Test, at Lahore, ended in a draw when Pakistan, chasing 346, finished on 244-6.
Can you name both playing XIs from the Faisalabad Test match that the West Indies won?
