The all-time record belongs to an Indian, who led in 128 straight games as captain between 1991 and 1996, followed by a Sri Lankan with 100 matches between 2006 and 2008. We’ve kept the cut-off to a minimum of 50 straight matches and three captains feature twice each in this list.
