In this quiz, you have to name the non-SENA batsmen with the most Test runs in the SENA countries.
For the uninitiated, SENA is an acronym referring to South Africa, England, New Zealand and Australia. Often taken as a whole, with all four countries largely benefitting pace bowling, performance in the combined territory is sometimes taken as the true marker of an Asian or Caribbean batsman’s quality. It doesn’t mean as much if an Indian great scores big in Sri Lanka, so just taking an away average won’t do.
In total, 24 batsmen from India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and West Indies have notched 2,000 or more runs in SENA. No Bangladeshis, Irishmen or Afghans have yet done so.
You’ve got five minutes to ace this quiz, with each player’s country and their record in SENA to go on.
