Can you name the bowlers with the worst career economy rates in ODI cricket and ace this quiz?

With a cut-off of having taken at least 50 ODI wickets, 37 bowlers have a career economy rate of above 5.50 runs per over. It’s a list that features a fair few all-rounders, chucked the ball to ‘make things happen’ i.e. when the opposition are on top. It’s also dominated by modern players. For example, five of England’s World Cup final-winning XI feature.

This quiz is one of the more negative ones we’ve done, and so to save the bowlers from any shame, we haven’t actually given you their economy rates, though they are listed in order from most to least expensive. Instead, you’ll have to make do with their wicket tallies, the countries they played for, and their career spans.

You have eight minutes. Good luck!
