In this quiz, you have to name every bowler to have taken 50 or more Test wickets at an average in excess of 40.
It’s a tricky list, and none of the bowlers were really unsuccessful Test cricketers, since to take that many wickets, you have to be doing a job of sorts. There are a few part-timers who just crept over the line, as well as a few front-line spinners from outside Asia and quicks from Asia who often found themselves having to perform a holding role in unhelpful conditions.
