In total, 27 men have top scored on 40 or more occasions in Test cricket. While lots of Test cricket’s leading run scorers feature, it’s still an interesting list. The man with the highest average of them all, for example, doesn’t feature. He made his runs in so few innings that he barely had enough chances to get enough top scores.
