Surprisingly, there are only 33 in total. While there are some notable gloveman-skippers, it’s often said that stumpers make the ideal deputies, meaning the top job often goes to someone else.
That’s borne out by the number of stopgap skippers in this list, which you can identify by each player’s span as captain. You also have each player’s country to go on.
While the more recent answers are gettable, some of the historic ones are really tough, so don’t be too down on yourself if you don’t get full marks
