Due to their exclusion from international cricket due to Apartheid, the Proteas only made their World Cup debut in 1992. Since then, their story has been one of repeated nearly but not quites, with agonising exits at the semi-final stage in the 1999 and 2015 World Cups at the top of their list of heartbreaks.

In total, 66 players have featured for South Africa at men’s World Cups, including one who has done so 36 times across four different events.

You have 10 minutes to name as many as possible. Good luck!
