This is a tough one, and you’ll have to really scour the depths of your memory archives to score highly. There’s a few players whose careers just tailed off at the start of the millennium, and some who are just starting out, but for the most part this is a list of players who got precious little opportunity to show how good they were. Joint-top is a player who won all five of his Tests, all in the same series, and yet never played again.
