In this quiz, similar to the one on Test openers, you have to name all the players who have opened for Australia in men’s ODIs since the beginning of this century.
It isn’t an easy task – apart from a few A-listers, the 35-member list is filled with those who occupied the spot for just a brief while. The quiz mentions the time period and the number of matches they played as an opener.
As many as 20 out of these have opened for Australia in less than 10 games, but a good proportion of them are well-known middle-order batsmen who were experimented with at the top of the order.
You have a good seven minutes to name all of them.
