The latest edition of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy starts on Friday (November 22) and the first Test of the series is all set to witness a player captaining an India-Australia Test for the first time in the absence of the regular India captain.
Overall, 47 players have led in India-Australia Test matches across both teams, and across both genders - 36 men, and 11 women. The most any player has led in India-Australia Tests is 13, with six others leading in 10 or more games. Among women, only five out of 11 have captained in multiple India-Australia Tests.
You will be given the country, the time span between the first and last India-Australia Test a player led in, and the number of matches they were in charge as hints. You'll have eight minutes to guess the 47 names. Good luck!
