Take this quiz to test yourself on the Players of the Tournament at the men’s ODI World Cup.
The first four editions of the Men’s World Cup – 1975, 1979, 1983, 1987 – had a Player of the Match award for every game, but did not have a Player of the Tournament award. It is not clear why, because the concept had been in place in the format even before World Cups: Keith Stackpole had won the Player of the Series for the 1972 bilateral ODI series in England.
However, that changed in 1992, and every edition of the tournament has had an award since then. Take this quiz to find out how well you remember these winners.
