In this quiz, you have to name every player to have scored a double-century in a match that was part of a World Test Championship cycle.
A converted opening batter became the first double-centurion of 2025 and the first World Test Championship double-centurion for South Africa in Cape Town today (January 4). His was the 30th score of 200 plus in a World Test Championship match. Overall in this cycle of the tournament there have been eight double-centuries scored by seven players, a young India opener appearing on the list twice.
Seven players in the history of the World Test Championship have scored more than one double-century in the edition, while the player with the most has scored four and featured in every edition. One player has scored three and also appeared in every edition.
Of those players on the list, two scored triple hundreds. The first of those was scored by an Australia opener in 2019 - although his name appears twice - and one was by a young England star in Pakistan.
You have five minutes to guess all 30 names on the list.
