The four counties who competed were eventual winners Nottinghamshire as well as Surrey, Lancashire and Gloucestershire. Finals day went into a reserve day after rain had wiped out any chance of play on the Saturday. The weather wasn’t much kinder on the Sunday either, as the two semi-finals were reduced to 11 overs before a 16 over final was played between Notts and Surrey.
Nottinghamshire won the reduced overs game by six wickets, chasing 127 to win with an over to spare.
