Opening the bowling is thought of as a quick bowler’s job: with a hard seam and shiny exterior, the ball is supposed to favour seamers at the start. However, the list contains a fair number of spinners who were called on to open the bowling, some of whom are surprise inclusions in this quiz.
We have mentioned the number of wickets they took, and the number of matches in which they bowled either first or second in the bowling attack.
