In this quiz, you have to correctly guess whether the following players have a higher batting average or bowling average in Test cricket.
In Test cricket, one of the most basic measures to evaluate players is the average number of runs scored per dismissal for batters, and similarly the average number of runs conceded per wicket taken for bowlers.
For batters, a high average is desirable and for bowlers, the lower the better. Here, you will have to guess whether the following players have a higher batting average than bowling average.
Remember, very good batters are likely to have a high batting average. If they are not good at bowling, their bowling average could be even higher. The inverse applies for very good bowlers. Watch out for the pesky all-rounders, too. They can be difficult to judge.
There are 40 players on this list. Type in 'y' if you think their batting average is higher than their bowling average, and 'n' if you think the bowling average is higher. You have six minutes to guess the correct answers. Good luck!
