In this quiz, you have to name every batter to score a hundred in each innings of a Test match away from home.
The first cricketer to score a hundred in an each innings of a Test match away from home was an Australian, on the 1909 Ashes tour. He remained the only one to achieve this before the Wars, and only five others emulated him between the Wars.
The post-War era began with an avalanche, of five occurrences in the span of three years, followed by a gap of nearly 11 years. In the early 1970s, two batters scored a hundred and a double-hundred in the same Test away from home. The second of these batters was one of two brothers who did this in the same Test, a feat equalled by two Sri Lankans in Sylhet in early 2024.
The list, updated up to August 4, 2024, includes hundreds in the UAE, which has served as a neutral venue for both playing nations. Can you name them all in eight minutes?
