In this quiz, similar to its Test equivalent, you have to name the players with the most runs at No.4 in ODIs.

The No.4 spot has traditionally been looked upon as an anchor’s role, one that requires the batsman to negotiate the testing middle overs against a softer ball and slower bowlers. However, the changing dynamics of ODI cricket now require even fluent stroke-makers to don the role – balls don’t go soft anymore and the “middle overs”, in essence, are shrinking each season.

Below are 36 names, qualifying on the 2,000-run cut-off at the No.4 position. Only one of them has breached the 7,000-run mark, and continues to don the role for his side.

You have six minutes to name them all. The span denotes the period in which the batsman occupied the No.4 spot.
