Babar has been a mainstay in Pakistan's side pretty much since his Test debut in 2016. He was their captain from 2021 to 2023, and has scored almost 4,000 runs from 55 matches in the format. Ahead of Pakistan's second Test against England in Multan, he has been rested from the side to allow him space to re-find his form after a lean run.
So far, Babar has had 49 Test teammates. The player he has appeared with in Tests for Pakistan the most times, joined on the field on 43 occasions before his retirement in 2022.
