Biography
Tyron Henderson was born in Durban, Natal, and is a medium pace bowler who plays for South Africa. He is also an aggressive lower order batsman, who can smash that invaluable 30-40 down the order and see his team through. Nicknamed the Blacksmith, he made his first class debut in 1998-99. Apart from representing Border, Cape Cobras, Lions and Warriors in the South African first class tournament, he has also played county cricket for Kent, and as a part of the Kolpak ruling, he plays for Middlesex as well.
With more than 400 first class, List A and Twenty20 wickets to boot, he finally made his international debut in 2008 when he played for South Africa in a T20 international against India. Unfortunately he did not do too well, while batting he scored a duck and ended up conceding at more than eight runs per over, in a target of 127 off the 20 overs.
