Biography

Coming from a family having a historic cricketing lineage, Michael Bracewell had chosen his profession well before his birth. Nephew of New Zealand internationals John and Brendan Bracewell, Michael is the son of Mark Bracewell, who played first class-cricket for Otago. Doug Bracewell is his famous cousin who plays for New Zealand at the international level. He mentions Adam Gilchrist as his role-model and that is evident in his role as a wicket-keeper and a top-order batsman.
