Biography

Kraigg Brathwaite is right-handed batter from Barbados. He made his first-class debut at a young age of 19 and impressed straight away. His impressive performances in domestic cricket saw him being called up for the national side.

After his international debut, Brathwaite led the West Indies U19 side in the 2012 World Cup. It was his second stint with the U19 side after representing them in the 2010 edition. Though he made his international debut in 2011, Kraigg was called up to the national side in 2009 when many of the senior players went on strike.

Brathwaite is known for his patience and concentration, and models his game like Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Though Brathwaite failed to impress on his Test debut, he showed his worth against India in their own backyard. He has been in-and-out of the side and is yet to nail his spot in the national team.
