Biography

Keshav Maharaj is an Indian origin spin specialist for South Africa. He is a left-arm bowler who made his first-class debut in November 2006. He represented Natal in domestic cricket and was a prolific wicket-taker for them. His hard work eventually paid off when the national selectors decided to hand him a chance.

Keshav made his Test debut in November 2016 against Australia and scalped 4 wickets in the match. In 2017, he made his ODI debut against England. In the same year, he was named as the International Newcomer of the year at Cricket South Africa's annual awards.
