the 2019 Inter-Provincial Cup in Ireland. Following that, he was named in the Ireland Wolves squad for the Bangladesh tour. In 2022, Hume was handed a nine-month contract by Ireland Cricket. In the same year, Hume made his ODI debut against New Zealand. He played his first T20I against Afghanistan. The following year he got his maiden Test cap against Bangladesh which is a great honour for any cricketer.
