A rising star of South African Cricket, David Bedingham has gained prominence in the ever evolving landscape of the game.
David was born on September 8th, 1994, in Bellville, South Africa.
David is an explosive right handed middle order batsman, whose early exploits showcased not only a natural flair for stroke play but also an inherent ability to handle pressure situations which is a quality not many posses. David made his first-class debut for the Northerns in the 2012-13 season in March 2013. David has also been the leading run score in multiple big tournaments including the 2017-18 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge and the 2017-18 Sunfoil 3-Day Cup.
In April 2021, David was named in the Western Province’s squad, ahead of the 2021-22 cricket season in South Africa. Later the same month, David scored his maiden double century in first-class cricket with 257 runs for Durham in the 2021 Country Championship in England.
