Lahiru Kumara, born on February 13, 1997, in Kandy, Sri Lanka, is a right-arm fast bowler renowned for his raw pace and aggressive bowling style. Emerging from the cricketing circuits of Kandy, Kumara's talent was evident early on, leading to his selection for the Sri Lanka Under-19 team. His performances at the junior level showcased his potential to become a mainstay in the national team's pace attack.
Kumara made his first-class debut for Sri Lanka A against West Indies A on October 4, 2016.
