Biography

Andrew Robinson often known as “Robbo” is a left-handed opening batsman. After a decade of playing with the Gold Coast Dolphins-cricket club, he received a Queensland contract in 2011-12. With this he was also rewarded a place with the Gold Bull's Shefield Shield winning team. Soon he emerged with confidence and played in the inaugural Big Bash League. This was followed by a superb partnership with Matthew Hayden of 100 runs in 8.4 overs against the Hobart Hurricanes. He is not only a good batsman but is also an excellent fielder and a catcher.
