by Wisden Staff 5 minute play

In this quiz, you have to name the non-strikers who were run out while backing up too much in international cricket. You have three minutes.

The mode of dismissal dates back to 1835 in first-class cricket, but it was not until the 1947/48 season that the first instance took place in Test cricket. Across Test matches, ODIs, and T20 Internationals – men’s and women’s – such dismissals have taken place 14 times until September 26, 2022. Four of them were inflicted by the same bowler in the same match.

We have listed the bowlers, can you name the batters? You have three minutes.
