It’s a criteria that weeds out a lot of good names, and you’re left with some of the timeless legends behind the stumps. Get this – the ‘keeper with the highest count of dismissals has 555 of them!

In all, there are 18 wicketkeepers to reach the 200 mark, in a list dominated by the Australians and the Englishmen – there are as many as four players from each country.

There is just the one Indian – no prizes for guessing who – while West Indies, Pakistan, South Africa and New Zealand also find good representation.
